This past weekend the North Stars schedule saw them in a home and home with the Nipawin Hawks. Friday night the stage was set at the ACC with new goalie Ben Dardis starting in net for his debut with the Stars. The first period saw the Stars behind 2-1 heading into the 1st intermission, the jets were then turned on to see a 4-3 lead after the 2nd and a final of 6-3 for game 1 of the weekend set. With the powerplay ultimately being the game winner that night. Saturday night in the Cage saw another rough start being down 2-0 heading into the 2nd period, Kian Bell sends one in to ignite a spark which doesn’t last long with the Hawks scoring again to close the 2nd period out up 3-1. Bell sends another one in with less than 6 minutes left in the 3rd to try and ignite that spark again being only within one now. With just under 2 minutes on the score clock William’s is able to send one in to tie the game up with Sinclair sending another one in only 48 seconds later to seal the deal of another North Stars win with absolute heroics to close out the game.
