Head Coach/General Manager
The Battlefords North Stars Junior A Hockey Club of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League are seeking a Head Coach and General Manager.
Requirements:
- Coach and mentor players
- Scouting and player recruitment
- Organize practice, game and season plans for on and off-ice requirements
- On ice coaching and player development
- Video analysis and game-footage breakdown
- Managing all aspects of the hockey operations of the team
- Administration duties as assigned by the president and board
- Detail oriented with great organizational skills
- Travel and manage team scheduled games and off-ice activities
- Promotion and advancement of Players and Staff
Qualifications:
- Playing experience and coaching experience
- Recruitment experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability and desire to work evenings, weekends, holidays and long hours
- Well organized and great time management skills
- Motivated and goal orientated
- Canadian Citizen
Compensation: Salary based on experience, knowledge and qualifications
