This past weekend the Weyburn Red Wings were in town the North Stars were able to improve their winning streak to 6 while securing another 4 points this weekend. Friday night’s game went all the way to a shootout with goals from Bradley Blake & Jackson Allan to secure the 4-3 victory while Saturday’s game was a different story with the Stars winning 5-3. This weekend saw a team effort with Karman adding 2A, Burgeson 2G, Williams 2G, Girod 1A 1G, Allan 1A 1G, Blake 1G, 1A and Bell with 3A. Captain Tanner Gold helped lead the charge Saturday with 1 G 3A helping to lead the way for an astounding 3/7 on the powerplay that night. The Stars look to continue their success at the showcase this upcoming week with 2 games. First game is Monday November 13th against the Estevan Bruins 7:30pm puck drop, closing out the showcase with a game Thursday November 16th against the Weyburn Red Wings at 1:30pm before they head up to La Ronge for a double header to almost bring an end to the away games to close out the 2023 portion of the season.
